Situation:
Mountain Meadow is dependant on their blender shaft to
maintain temperature of the soil. With a broken load bearing shaft on
their “product” blender rendering the tool inoperable for more than 3 days a
loss of $100,000 would be recognized per 3 days.
Solution:
Remove broken shaft with torch, machine id of blender,
install new shaft and turn to original bearing size for their machine
Results:
After working long into the night two
days straight we were able to have them back up and running and created a
new happy customer in the process.
